Students' comments

I joined to try and strengthen my back which was in a pretty poor state having had twins about a year previously. My back has definitely improved and feels much stronger from the yoga exercises as well as the passage of time!!
The atmosphere in class is always welcoming and friendly, although I do find some of the poses challenging there are also sufficient relaxation poses too, definitely something for everyone. Pascale is wonderful at ensuring the poses aren't too much for you personally and modifies positions for certain individuals, i.e. me!!

Louise [May 2010]

I have found the support, knowledge, motivation, humour and inspiration of a teacher like Pascale Vacher absolutely instrumental in making the classes a feature of the week and a really enjoyable experience.
I love the feeling of taking part in a class with such a variety of others and look forward to continuing for many years to come.

Ged [May 2010]

The atmosphere is always welcoming - we all work hard yet the time zooms past.
Pascale creates a little oasis of joy and peace every Wednesday evening - whatever kind of poses we are doing. She has a very special talent for teaching yoga - she clearly loves it and shares that love with her students.

Pippa [May 2010]

Can I just say how much I enjoy the classes. Yoga can become quite addictive! I felt like a steam engine had run over me this morning after the workshop but full of energy and relaxed. It is quite funny how nobody noticed the time fly by. I am the same sometimes in my Pilates teaching. Time runs away and everybody is trying hard. You are obviously the same that you enjoy what you are doing and when the pupils are trying hard and making progress one is always tempted to push it just a bit further - and this is how time runs away.  Very enjoyable. If I can fit it into my busy life I would like to continue Yoga under your guidance and continue if there is another class in after the summer holiday.
Esther [June 2010]

Just a brief note to thank you for another great year of yoga classes. You make it challenging and interesting.
Barbara [July 2011]

Thanks Pascale, Really enjoyed the workshop on Saturday and hoping to manage be more consistent with home practice after this.
Jill [July 2011]

I did really enjoyed the class and felt the benefit of challenging myself.
Jenny [July 2011]

Thanks so much for last weekend workshop. The hard work was good! with all the reminders towards the right postures, it's got me started again into regular practice and I already feel fitter. The sequences you gave us are really helpfull to start and put the mat down.
Val [July 2011]

Thank you so much for such a wonderful work shop today. I can hardly believe how much better my shoulder feels. I think everyone was very pleased and enjoyed your teaching.
Maggie [Oct 2011]

I think the classes are fab, the teaching is first class and the venue is excellent.
Jenny [Oct 2011]

I've done a little practice over this last week and really enjoyed remembering some of the chest opening poses that you recommended for mornings, along with those important ham string stretches! Through coming to your classes for a couple of years when I'm holding the poses on my own I can hear your advice talking me through how to hold all my various body parts in the correct way, this is very helpful! I find your teaching style very thorough and clear, which I think is important when learning yoga, you use humour often and show great care towards your students, which I think encourages attendees to keep coming back year after year! I feel glad to have yoga in my life and am even looking forward to the benefits that it may bring to me as time passes. Iyengar yoga allows people with bodies of all capabilities and limitations to benefit from the poses.
