Teacher Training
New teacher Training course is to start in Spring 09 at the centre.
The main requirement is a minimum of 3 years regular attendance at an Iyengar yoga class.

NEW YOGA CLASSES at the Centre.
Tuesday 7.45pm – 9pm Introductory 5-week course
Wednesdays 8.15pm-9.30pm Introductory 5-week course
Thursday 6pm – 7.15pm Beginners class
Friday Lunchtime 12.45pm – 2pm Beginners class

REMEMBER! If you are booked on a course at the centre you can drop in to our Friday (beginners) or Tuesday (older and stiffer) lunchtime classes for just £5.

SADIYA Equipment sales - Yoga equipment can be sold through SADIYA teachers and a stock is held at the Yoga Centre at discounted prices.

REMINDER: When attending a class at the Sheffield Yoga Centre could you please avoid parking in front of residents' houses. There is plenty of parking on the opposite side or on roads further up.
We are also trying to encourage car sharing. Requests or offers for car-sharing to go to the Sheffield Yoga Centre can be posted in this website. You can also ask your teacher...

A new 5-week block of yoga classes for "Older and Stiffer" people is now running at Sheffield Yoga Centre, Walkley, on Tuesdays 12.30pm-1.30pm.
Do you feel you are getting stiffer with age? Want to improve balance and flexibility without strain? Then this small and friendly beginners class, taught by experienced and mature teacher Joan Abrams is for you. You can join at any point.
All equipment provided. On street car parking available.

New Iyengar Yoga teachers in Sheffield
Mandy Bryce, Emma Rattenbury, Helen Scarlett, Kim Skinner, Bridget Strong, Pascale Vacher and Wendy Weller-Davies, who trained with Marion Kilburn and Frances Homewood since spring 2005, have successfully passed their Introductory Teaching Certificate.
