All the teachers always make you feel welcome and don’t mind how ‘bad’ you are at yoga, but they help you to get it right (well try to ;-)) Thank you for an excellent workshop. [...] Nothing was left to chance: I felt challenged, protected and comfortable. Although we covered an extensive agenda and moved along at a good clip, we had time to ask questions and discuss how we felt about the asanas. Although I’m not a flexible person, with the aid of all the props and assistance, I was able to hold all the stances in comfort. The props made the ‘difficult’ asanas easier to hold in good form. They also shed light on ‘easier’ asanas, and helped me to focus on areas of the body I wouldn’t normally notice. Just to thank you for a wonderful class last night. I nearly didn't come - the rush back from work on top of permanently high stress levels. I am so glad I did. Since starting Iyengar yoga in September I have felt a difference in my neck, shoulders and arms in which I was experiencing problems and pain. I have felt a gradual improvement over the months. My first class was a great experience, the teachers ran as a double act, one giving the instructions, the other walking around adjusting people and adding a bit of humour. Also it was nice to see that I was not the only man, pheeew and to finish it off I had relief from my upper back pain due to bad posture sitting in the office. I just wanted to say a very big thank you. I came along to my first yoga session in January last year, not quite sure of what to expect, and not feeling particularly great mentally. The classes were excellent and really made a difference to me, helping to focus my mind. Without the classes I'm not sure how I would now be feeling. I really feel attending yoga classes have helped me. About Frances Homewood’s Summer School 2009...Thank you so much for these three days. I really enjoyed and appreciated them. I loved having the opportunity to start the day with meditation. Look forward to next one! Excellent. Make it an annual event – lots of notice of the date. Liked having the chance to dip in and out. Appreciated the morning meditation. Excellent weekend – best I’ve felt for years. Invigorating, challenging and instructive. Excellent! Very enjoyable to do yoga over three days – please repeat next year! Many thanks! Inspirational and surprisingly I didn’t feel ‘beaten up’ after so much yoga! Had a transformational effect physically and mentally. About the women class...Great class! Got dressed without a struggle and NO PAIN. First time in ages. Thank you Frances. Feel inspired again.
